| missing you

Two o'clock inthe morning, standing on a deserted street, under the bright yellow streetlights watching her being driven away from my life in a taxi. Heart's wrenching in pain, tears trickling down my cheeks as I try to recall the last kiss she planted on my cheeks.

" Please look back my baby. Please let me know you still care for me."

I love her. Yes, I love her. In the short three days we were together, the feeling of falling innocently in love came back to me. In her i can see everything that is beautiful in the future.

Maybe it's naivity tugging my heart strings but either way, I can't care less. If being a fool feels this great, please let me remain one till the day i die.

| of flowers in my hair and The Rock

If you're going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there

So sings John Phillip. Honestly it sounds very gay to me. Infact you can see the Rainbow flag flying around the city. Way to go Gay Pride!

Did not really visit the gay part of the city but I bet you a million dollar there must be plenty of men-to-men action in this place.080506_0159_1080506_0314

| praise our Lord Stevie G

Burn the Son of God. All hail our new messiah, our Lord Stevie G.

Witness the power of ressurection of our Lord. When all is bleak, His thunderous right foot split the heavens above brought forth the light and the chalice back to Anfield; the last piece of salvation on earth.

Rejoice as He holds aloft the chalice. Rejoice for our Lord is risen.

| of passes and contamination

It's been exactly a week since I stepped foot into the island and today is the day that I make the stay official by going to the Ministry of Manpower to collect my S Pass.

In the waiting hall of the ministry, they play a clip of what's to do and what's not to do on all the tv's - one message that struck deep into my conciousness are these etheral words "Work permit holders are not allowed to marry Singaporean citizens without the permission of the Ministry" (not the exact words per se, but the similar nonetheless).

So I guess I am deemed of as such an organism that occupies the lowest rung of existance that my contamination of the Singaporean gene pool is totally sacreligious. Gasp! Horror! Horror!

Have to look at my purpose of living in a whole new perspective now.

Cheers.

| suddenly it's hip to be from Ipoh.....

Anyone realise that suddenly it became "hip" to come from Ipoh? I mean with the sudden movies and a play about the place where I grew up. The city never recieved this much hype before.

Tgfi___final_pc__1_20copy3 Watched "The Girl from Ipoh" last Saturday. A light hearted play - not bad but not too good either. With commentary like that, I might as well not say anything. Anyway the company was what made the night special. The day started with me walking around Times Square with a bouquet of flowers and getting funny looks from everyone especially the women. Well, as long as it makes her smile, I'm willing to go through it all over again.

The only thing that i can think of that's special about Ipoh is that:

1. we speak funny Cantonese. No, actually we speak proper Cantonese and the whole world speaks funny. We're right and you're wrong. Screw you all.

2. our coffee is extra rich and extremely sweet. One glass and you're already hopping, 2 glasses and you can have marathon sex for 14 hours straight without even breaking a sweat. That's what makes "Ipoh-ians" (god forbid if there's such a word) shag like a sledgehammer. There are great powers in those white coffee, I tell you. It's like our own gummyberry juice.

3. our bean sprouts are fat, stout and crunchy. This is a total mystery to me as to why it only grows like that in Ipoh. If taugeh can fetch the price of that of truffles, we'll be all millionaires, secede and piss on the whole of Malaysia. Alas it is not to be and 5 bucks can buy you a bloody gunny sack of it.

4. Pameloes and our pamelo beauties. The age of sex and capitalism has dawned in the city and it's so intwined that young girls wearing short, short skirts are hired to sell those succulent things. Just drive slowly along the stalls in Sam Poh Tong and you can see droves of bored beauties rush out and stand attentively displaying their wares - just like Thailand. But here they are actualy selling the pameloes and not selling "their" pameloes.

5. We're clean and the whole world is dirty. That is a fact.

6. Ipoh girls - for those who said that Ipoh girls are cute, I say to you; "You're daft and need to get out more often". Cute girls anywhere are still cute, irregardless of where they come from. If you say Ipoh are full of cute guys, then i concur (please, I do not mean that in a gay way. I am just trying to flatter myself).

Feel free to add.............

Cheers.
